Youth Mindfulness Group & Snack

The Youth Mindfulness Group is a supportive, engaging group designed to help children and adolescents learn how to slow down, manage emotions, and build awareness of their thoughts and feelings. Through age-appropriate activities such as guided breathing, movement, grounding exercises, and group discussions, participants learn practical skills to reduce stress, improve focus, and strengthen emotional regulation.

This group provides a safe and welcoming space where youth can practice mindfulness skills, build confidence, and connect with peers. Mindfulness techniques are taught in a fun, interactive way that supports emotional well-being and healthy coping both in and outside of the group setting.

A healthy snack is provided during each group session to support energy, focus, and comfort. Snack time is also used as an opportunity to practice mindfulness skills, such as noticing tastes, textures, and hunger cues, while encouraging positive social interaction and routine.

Snacks are selected with attention to common allergies and nutritional balance, and accommodations can be made as needed.
