Skills Building Group

A skills-building group led by a behavioral health support specialist provides a structured and supportive environment where youth develop practical tools to manage emotions, behaviors, and daily challenges. Through interactive activities, guided practice, and group discussion, participants build skills such as emotional regulation, coping strategies, communication, problem-solving, and self-control. The specialist supports engagement, models healthy behaviors, and reinforces skill use to help youth apply what they learn across home, school, and social settings.
